This form is for all athletes who swam in 2025-2026.
Program descriptions:
AquaGo - Progress through AquaGo levels, similar to swim lessons, with added skills for Artistic Swimming. 4-6 semesters per year. Performances at Christmas Show and Year End Show when registered for those semesters.
12&Under Show Recreational - For AquaGo swimmers who have progressed through all or most of AquaGo or who have been advised to try this program by a coach, or swimmers 10-12 years old joining for the first time. A program to continue to advance your Artistic Swimming skills and perform at shows, without the commitment and competitions of our competitive programming. Once a week and twice a week options. Performances at our Christmas Show and Year End Show.
Our Show Recreational programs are designed as a separate option to competitive, but those still young enough in future seasons can opt to do the competitive assessment from being in a Show Rec program. (maximum age to attend our competitive assessment days is 12 in the competitive season, ie: 2015 for the 2026-2027 season)
12&above Show Recreational - For swimmers who have recently completed Precompetitive, have participated in Show Rec previously, are older athletes trying the sport for the first time, or some of our older AquaGo swimmers who have progress through all or most of AquaGo. A program to continue to advance your Artistic Swimming skills and perform at shows, without the commitment and competitions of our competitive programming. Once a week and twice a week options. Performances at our Christmas Show and Year End Show.
Our Show Recreational programs are designed as a separate option to competitive, and those interested in competitive and born in 2015 an encouraged to attend the assessment day while they are still age eligible.
Introduction to Competitive - A program for swimmers who are starting in our competitive programming; a bridge program between recreational and travel competitive. Intro to Competitive swimmers swim twice a week, learn skills to progress to travel competitive. Competitions include but are not limited to: LTAD Skills Competition (Fall), Winterfest (January/February), Provincials (March). Swimmers on this team do not travel to compete. Athletes will also take part in our Christmas and Year End Watershow, and we have recently brought back our annual year end sleepover for our competitive athletes to look forward to. Intro to competitive is designed as a 1 year program and this program also requires more club based involvement with fundraising and volunteering than our recreational programs. Athletes born in 2015 or younger are eligible to attend our competitive assessment day.
Competitive - For athletes wishing to compete. Competitions include but are not limited to: LTAD Skills Competition (Fall), Winterfest (January/February), Provincials (March), Travel Competition (April or May, sometimes into early June). Athletes will also take part in our Christmas and Year End Watershow, and we have recently brought back our annual year end sleepover for our competitive athletes to look forward to. Our competitive program requires commitment to a minimum of 3 practices per week, hours vary per age group. This program also requires more club based involvement with fundraising and volunteering. *For athletes looking to move into intro to competitive and competitive teams there will be an assessment day at the start of September to determine placement. We will be offering a short info session with a Q&A in August for those looking to move into our competitive programs.
