Please fill out the below form to sign up for our assessment day for streaming into Intro to Competitive, Show Recreational, or continuing with AquaGO.
The assessment will be on Wednesday, September 9th, 6:00-7:45pm.
This assessment is open to swimmers born 2018-2015, with more than half of level 3 AquaGo completed.
What is Intro to Competitive?
A program in our competitive steam, with lower time commitments and no travel for swimmers in their first year of competitive.
This team will:
- Get to experience the excitement of competitive at local competitions without the commitment of travel. (LTAD skills meet in November, Winterfest Jan 30/Jan 31, Provincial Championships March 19-21).
- Perform at our Christmas and Year End shows
- Get a custom team routine suit (included in fees)
- Have a lower time commitment than our travel competitive teams - practicing 2 days a week to introduce swimmers into the competitive training environment.
- Be invited to attend our annual year end competitive athlete sleepover
What is Show Recreational?
12&Under Show Recreational - For AquaGo swimmers who have progressed through all (6 levels) or most of AquaGo or who have been advised to try this program by a coach, or swimmers 10-12 years old joining for the first time. A program to continue to advance your Artistic Swimming skills and perform at shows, without the commitment and competitions of our competitive programming. Once a week and twice a week options. Performances at our Christmas Show and Year End Show.
Our Show Recreational programs are designed as a separate option to competitive, but those still young enough in future seasons can opt to do the competitive assessment from being in a Show Rec program. (Competitive assessments go up to age 11)
12&above Show Recreational - For swimmers who have participated in Show Rec previously, are older athletes trying the sport for the first time, or some of our older AquaGo swimmers who have progressed through all or most of AquaGo. A program to continue to advance your Artistic Swimming skills and perform at shows, without the commitment and competitions of our competitive programming. Once a week and twice a week options. Performances at our Christmas Show and Year End Show.
Our Show Recreational programs are designed as a separate option to competitive.
